Rivamer 1.5 from Sun Pharma contains Rivastigmine, a medicine used in dementia care. This lower strength is often used at the start of treatment to help the body adjust.

Rivastigmine blocks an enzyme called cholinesterase, which normally breaks down acetylcholine in the brain. With more acetylcholine available, signals between brain cells improve, which can help memory, attention and daily activities.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with water, preferably with a meal in the morning and evening to reduce stomach upset. Do not crush or open the capsule.
