Rizact 10 from Cipla contains Rizatriptan, a medicine for migraine attacks. It belongs to the triptan group and is used when a migraine has already started.

• Migraine attacks with or without aura
• Migraine-related nausea, light and sound sensitivity

Rizatriptan acts on serotonin receptors in the brain, which narrows widened blood vessels around the brain and lowers the release of pain-causing chemicals. Together this eases the migraine headache and the symptoms around it.

Take as prescribed by your doctor at the first sign of a migraine. Swallow with water. It is not for daily use or to prevent migraine; it only treats an ongoing attack.

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Tiredness
• Tightness in chest, neck or throat
• Dry mouth
• Flushing

Do not use if you have heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, history of stroke, or severe liver problems. Tell the doctor about all migraine medicines you use, especially other triptans or ergot medicines.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep in the strip and out of reach of children.
