D Veniz 100 10 Tab

D Veniz 100 from Sun Pharma contains Desvenlafaxine, a serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) antidepressant. It is prescribed for major depressive disorder and is used long-term in selected patients.

Desvenlafaxine increases the levels of two brain chemicals, serotonin and noradrenaline, by reducing their reuptake into nerve cells. Over weeks of regular use, this helps lift low mood, improve interest in daily life and ease the physical symptoms that often come with depression.

Take this tablet as prescribed by your doctor, once a day at around the same time, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Do not stop suddenly even if you feel better, as the dose usually needs to be reduced gradually under medical supervision.

• Nausea, dry mouth or reduced appetite
• Dizziness or sleep changes
• Sweating or constipation
• Sexual side effects in some people

Tell your doctor about high blood pressure, heart disease, liver or kidney problems, glaucoma, bleeding tendency, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Watch for any worsening of mood, agitation or thoughts of self-harm, especially in the first few weeks, and seek medical advice promptly. Avoid alcohol and discuss other medicines with your doctor.
