Cerecetam 800 from Intas is a higher-strength tablet containing piracetam, a nootropic medicine from the racetam family. It is prescribed for conditions linked to brain function and involuntary muscle jerks.

• Myoclonus (sudden, brief muscle jerks)
• Cognitive symptoms in some elderly patients
• Supportive treatment in certain learning issues, only when prescribed

Piracetam acts on brain cells and is thought to improve how neurons communicate and how blood flows in small brain vessels. The full way it works is still being studied.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with water. It can be taken with or without food.

• Nervousness or restlessness
• Sleep disturbance
• Weight gain
• Stomach upset

Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, bleeding problems or are on blood thinners. Avoid stopping it suddenly if used long-term, especially for myoclonus.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
