Euthyrox 25 mcg is a low-dose thyroid replacement tablet from Merck. It helps people whose thyroid gland is not making enough hormone of its own.

Levothyroxine in the tablet acts like the body's own thyroxine hormone, helping cells produce energy and keeping heart rate, weight and mood in range.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, normally early morning on an empty stomach with water. Avoid food, milk or coffee for at least half an hour after.

Let your doctor know about heart, kidney or adrenal problems, diabetes or pregnancy. Maintain a 4-hour gap from calcium, iron and antacid tablets.
