Thyroxium from Elder Pharmaceuticals is a thyroid hormone replacement tablet with Thyroxine Sodium (Levothyroxine). This very low strength is often used to start treatment gently or in newborns and sensitive patients.

Thyroxine Sodium is a man-made version of the body's natural T4 hormone. It tops up the missing hormone so the body's metabolism, growth, and energy work normally.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with plain water. Wait at least 30 minutes before food, milk, tea, or other tablets.
