Melacare Cream 25 gm

Melacare Cream from Ajanta Pharma is a triple-combination skin cream with hydroquinone, a skin-lightening agent, tretinoin, a retinoid, and mometasone, a topical corticosteroid. It is used for short-term treatment of melasma.

• Melasma on the face
• Dark patches from sun damage
• Post-inflammatory dark spots
• Uneven facial pigmentation

Hydroquinone reduces melanin production in the skin, tretinoin speeds up cell turnover so pigmented cells are shed faster, and mometasone calms inflammation and reduces irritation from the other two actives.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area at night on cleansed skin, as prescribed by your doctor. Use sunscreen every morning during treatment.

• Skin redness or peeling
• Burning or stinging
• Dryness
• Sensitivity to sunlight

Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid eyes, lips and broken skin. Do not use beyond the time advised, as long-term steroid use can thin the skin.

Keep below 25 degrees Celsius, away from sunlight. Close the tube tightly after use and keep out of reach of children.
