Product information
About
Lacsoft Cream from Ipca Laboratories contains Ammonium Lactate, the salt form of Lactic Acid. It is a moisturising cream used for very dry and scaly skin.
Uses
- Very dry skin
- Rough, scaly patches
- Mild ichthyosis (fish-scale skin)
- Cracked heels
- Dry elbows and knees
How it works
Lactic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid that loosens the bond between old, dry skin cells so they shed gently. It also pulls water into the skin, making it softer and smoother over a few weeks of use.
How to take
Use as advised by your doctor. Apply a thin layer on clean, dry skin twice a day and rub in gently. Wash hands after use. Best results come with steady daily use.
Side effects
- Mild burning or stinging at first
- Redness
- Itching
- Dryness in early days
Precautions
For external use only. Avoid eyes, lips and broken or freshly shaved skin. Use a sunscreen on areas exposed to the sun, as the skin may become more sun-sensitive.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep the tube tightly closed and away from children.
