Product information
About
Adaple C Gel from Wallace is a 15 g acne gel containing Adapalene 0.1% and Clindamycin 1%. It is a prescription combination used for mild to moderate acne, helping with both the bumps and the bacteria that make them worse.
Uses
- Treats mild to moderate acne
- Reduces red, painful pimples
- Clears whiteheads and blackheads
- Helps prevent new breakouts
How it works
Adapalene is a vitamin A-like compound that normalises skin cell shedding, unclogging pores. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that targets the bacteria responsible for acne inflammation. Used together, they shrink existing pimples and keep new ones at bay.
How to take
Use as prescribed by your doctor. Usually a pea-sized amount on clean, dry skin once at night. Avoid eyes, mouth and the corners of the nose. Wash hands after applying.
Side effects
- Dryness or peeling of skin
- Mild burning or stinging at first
- Sensitivity to sunlight
- Rare allergic skin reactions
Precautions
Apply sunscreen every morning, as adapalene increases sun sensitivity. Avoid harsh facial scrubs, waxing or other strong actives on the same area. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
