Acnestar Cream 22 gm

Acnestar Cream from Mankind contains benzoyl peroxide 2.5%, a gentle yet effective strength for treating everyday pimples. The 22 gm tube is a good size for a regular acne care routine on the face, back or chest.

Benzoyl peroxide releases oxygen on the skin, which kills the bacteria that drive acne. It also gently loosens dead skin cells and softens the plug inside pores, so new pimples are less likely to form.

Wash and dry the face, then dab a thin layer on the acne-prone area once a day at night to start. Build up to twice a day if your skin tolerates it. Use as advised on the pack or by your doctor.

Start slowly to let the skin get used to the cream. Avoid eyes, lips and inner nostrils. Benzoyl peroxide can bleach clothes, towels, pillow covers and hair, so let the cream dry well. Use a sunscreen during the day and a light moisturiser if skin gets too dry. Avoid in pregnancy without medical advice.

Keep the tube tightly closed in a cool place away from heat and sunlight, and out of reach of children.
