Ipravent Respirator 15 ml

Ipravent Respirator Solution from Cipla contains Ipratropium Bromide, an inhaled bronchodilator. It is used through a nebuliser machine to open up tight airways in chest conditions.

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Acute breathlessness episodes
• Chronic bronchitis
• Asthma flare-ups (as add-on)

Ipratropium is an anticholinergic that relaxes the muscle band around the airways. As the airways widen, air moves in and out more easily and breathlessness, wheeze and chest tightness ease.

Use as prescribed by your doctor through a nebuliser. Pour the measured solution into the nebuliser cup, fit the mask or mouthpiece and breathe normally until the mist stops. Rinse mouth after use.

• Dry mouth or bitter taste
• Throat irritation, cough
• Headache, mild nausea
• Rare blurred vision if mist reaches eyes

Tell the doctor if you have glaucoma, prostate enlargement or bladder problems. Avoid the mist entering the eyes; close eyes during nebulisation or use a mouthpiece. Not for sudden severe attacks unless advised.

Store below 25°C, away from light. Use opened respules or solution within the time advised on the pack. Keep out of reach of children.
