Ipravent Rotacaps 40 mg (30 Cap)

Ipravent Rotacaps from Cipla contain Ipratropium Bromide as a dry powder for inhalation. They are used with a Rotahaler device to open up tight airways in long-term chest conditions.

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Chronic bronchitis
• Asthma (as add-on therapy)
• Long-term wheeze and breathlessness

Ipratropium is an anticholinergic that blocks signals that tighten airway muscles. The muscle around the airway relaxes, the passages widen and breathing becomes easier.

Use as prescribed by your doctor with a Rotahaler. Place one capsule in the device, twist to pierce it and breathe in deeply through the mouthpiece. Rinse the mouth with water afterwards.

• Dry mouth, bitter taste
• Throat irritation, cough
• Headache
• Rare blurred vision if powder reaches eyes

Share any history of glaucoma, prostate problems or difficulty in passing urine with your doctor. The capsules are only for inhalation through the device, never to be swallowed. Not meant for sudden attacks of breathlessness.

Keep below 25°C, away from moisture and light. Keep capsules in the original pack until used. Keep out of reach of children.
