Flutibact Ointment 10 gm

Flutibact Ointment from GlaxoSmithKline is a 10 g skin ointment that combines a mild steroid with an antibiotic. It is used when skin is both inflamed and at risk of bacterial infection.

• Treats infected eczema and dermatitis
• Eases red, itchy, sore skin
• Helps with infected insect bites
• Used in minor infected skin patches

One ingredient calms swelling, redness and itching by reducing the skin's inflammatory response, while the other fights bacteria that can infect damaged skin. Together they ease symptoms and clear the infection.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Clean the affected area gently, then apply a thin layer of the ointment and rub in lightly. Wash hands after use unless the hands are being treated.

• Skin thinning with long use

• Change in skin colour

For external use only. Avoid use on the face, underarms or groin unless your doctor advises. Do not use for longer than prescribed or on broken or untreated infected skin.

Store below 25 degrees C in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
