Frext CR 100 from Intas is a controlled-release tablet of fluvoxamine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). The CR form is designed to release the medicine slowly over the day for steadier levels in the body.

Fluvoxamine keeps more serotonin, a mood-related chemical messenger, available between nerve cells in the brain. Over time this helps ease intrusive thoughts, low mood and anxiety.

Swallow the tablet whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor; do not crush or chew it. Try to take it at the same time each day, and never stop it suddenly without medical advice.
