Duzela 60

Duzela 60 from Sun Pharma is a higher-strength Duloxetine capsule. It is used by doctors for moderate to severe depression, anxiety and chronic nerve or muscle pain conditions.

• Moderate to severe depression
• Generalised anxiety disorder
• Painful diabetic neuropathy
• Fibromyalgia
• Long-term back or joint pain

Duloxetine belongs to the SNRI family. It increases serotonin and noradrenaline in the nervous system. The higher levels improve mood, reduce worry and dampen pain pathways that have become overactive.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole, with or without food, at about the same time each day. Do not chew or crush. Do not stop on your own — taper under medical advice.

• Nausea, dry mouth
• Headache or dizziness
• Sleepiness or insomnia
• Constipation
• Loss of appetite

Use cautiously in liver or kidney disease, uncontrolled glaucoma, high blood pressure and bleeding disorders. Avoid alcohol. Tell the doctor about every other medicine, especially other antidepressants, tramadol or blood thinners.

Keep below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
