Cystelia 35

Cystelia 35 from Jagsonpal contains Cyproterone Acetate, an anti-androgen, with Ethinylestradiol, a synthetic oestrogen. It is prescribed in women to manage hormone-driven skin and hair conditions and to provide contraceptive cover.

• Acne linked to hormonal imbalance
• Excess facial or body hair (hirsutism)
• Polycystic ovarian conditions in selected cases
• Oral contraception in eligible women

Cyproterone blocks the action of male-pattern hormones (androgens) on the skin and hair follicles, calming acne and unwanted hair growth. Ethinylestradiol steadies the menstrual cycle and prevents ovulation, also reducing androgen production.

Take one tablet daily as prescribed by your doctor, around the same time each day, ideally with water. Follow the pack's day order and the schedule the doctor has set. Do not skip tablets, as this affects both skin treatment and contraceptive cover.

• Nausea or breast tenderness
• Headache or mood changes
• Spotting between periods
• Weight or fluid changes

Not for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a history of blood clots, severe liver disease or hormone-sensitive cancers. Tell your doctor about migraine, smoking, high blood pressure or diabetes. Seek urgent care for severe leg pain, chest pain or sudden breathlessness.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Keep the strip in its original pack and out of reach of children.
