Rosubest 40

Rosubest 40 from Cadila contains Rosuvastatin, a statin used to lower cholesterol. Doctors prescribe it for high cholesterol and to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Rosuvastatin blocks an enzyme in the liver called HMG-CoA reductase that makes cholesterol. With less cholesterol being produced, the liver pulls more LDL out of the blood, lowering overall levels.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken at any time of day, but try to take it at the same time each day along with a low-fat diet.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have liver, kidney, or thyroid problems. Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or dark urine right away. Avoid heavy alcohol use.
