Roseday 40 10 tab

Roseday 40 from USV is a higher-strength statin tablet containing Rosuvastatin. Doctors usually prescribe it for adults who need intensive lowering of blood cholesterol.

• Very high blood cholesterol
• Severe mixed cholesterol disorders
• Prevention of heart attack and stroke
• Familial high cholesterol

Rosuvastatin slows down the liver enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which makes cholesterol in the body. With less cholesterol being formed, the liver clears more bad cholesterol (LDL) from the blood, helping protect the heart.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. The tablet can be taken with or without food, at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water.

• Headache
• Muscle pain, tenderness or weakness
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Constipation
• Dizziness

This higher strength is usually started only after lower strengths have been tried. Tell the doctor about liver, kidney or thyroid disease, alcohol use, or any muscle problems. Report unexplained muscle pain or dark urine without delay. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Keep below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
