Calcigen D3

Calcigen D3 from Cadila (Zydus) is a calcium and Vitamin D3 supplement. It supports people whose diet or sunlight exposure does not give them enough of these nutrients for healthy bones.

Calcium is the main mineral that builds and maintains bone and teeth, and it also helps muscles and nerves work normally. Vitamin D3 helps the gut absorb that calcium and pulls it into the bone.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water after a meal so the stomach handles it better.

• Rarely, too much calcium in the blood with long-term overuse

Tell your doctor if you have kidney stones, kidney disease or high blood calcium. Space it a few hours apart from iron tablets, thyroid medicine and certain antibiotics, as calcium can reduce their absorption.
