Calcimax OP + 15 Tab

Calcimax OP+ from Meyer is a prescription bone-care tablet with Calcitriol (active Vitamin D), calcium, selenium and zinc, used mainly for people with bone-thinning problems.

• Bone problems linked to long-term kidney disease
• Calcium and Vitamin D deficiency under medical care

Calcitriol is the active form of Vitamin D and directly improves calcium absorption from the gut. Calcium builds and maintains bone, while zinc and selenium support bone cells and antioxidant defences.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor may check blood calcium levels from time to time during treatment.

• Nausea or stomach upset
• Constipation
• Headache or weakness
• High blood calcium with overuse, causing thirst, frequent urination and loss of appetite

Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, kidney stones, high blood calcium or are on digoxin. Avoid taking other Vitamin D supplements with this medicine unless your doctor advises.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, and keep out of reach of children.
