Orofer XT Drop 15 ml

Orofer XT Drops from Emcure Pharmaceuticals is a liquid iron supplement designed for infants and small children who need extra iron. It contains ferrous ascorbate, a gentle and well-absorbed form of iron, along with folic acid, an essential B-vitamin for making healthy red blood cells.

Ferrous ascorbate provides iron, which the growing body uses to make haemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen around the body. The ascorbate (vitamin C) part helps the gut absorb iron better. Folic acid supports the production of healthy red blood cells and is important for normal growth and development.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. The drops are usually measured carefully with the dropper provided and given directly into the mouth or mixed in a little juice or water. Avoid giving with milk, tea or coffee, as these can reduce iron absorption.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children. Discard within the period advised by your doctor or pharmacist after opening.
