Stator 10

Stator 10 by Abbott contains Atorvastatin, a widely used statin that lowers cholesterol and protects the heart. The strip carries 15 tablets.

Atorvastatin blocks an enzyme in the liver (HMG-CoA reductase) that makes cholesterol. With less cholesterol being produced, the liver pulls more LDL cholesterol out of the blood, lowering overall levels.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily — many people take it at bedtime. Swallow whole with water. It works alongside a low-fat diet and exercise.

Tell your doctor about liver disease, kidney issues, thyroid problems, alcohol use or pregnancy. Avoid grapefruit juice. Report any unexplained muscle pain or dark urine right away.
