Ovral L

Ovral L from Pfizer is a low-dose combined oral contraceptive pill with Ethinyl Estradiol and Levonorgestrel. It is widely used for birth control and to manage certain period problems.

The two hormones prevent the ovary from releasing an egg. They also thicken the cervical mucus and make the uterus lining less suitable for pregnancy, giving reliable contraception when taken on time.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually one tablet daily at the same time, following the pack order. Do not skip doses; if missed, follow the instructions inside the pack.

• Nausea in the early weeks
• Breast tenderness
• Mild headache or mood change
• Spotting between periods

Not for women with past blood clots, severe migraine with aura, breast cancer, liver disease, or who smoke heavily after age 35. Tell the doctor about all other medicines, as some reduce the pill's effect.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep the strip in the original pack and out of reach of children.
