Terbinaforce Plus NF Cream 15 gm

Terbinaforce Plus NF Cream from Mankind Pharma is a combination skin cream containing Terbinafine (antifungal), Clobetasol (potent corticosteroid), Ofloxacin (antibiotic) and Ornidazole (antiprotozoal/antibacterial). It is used for inflamed skin infections where fungus, bacteria and itching are all in play.

• Mixed fungal and bacterial skin infections
• Infected eczema or dermatitis with itching
• Inflamed ringworm with secondary infection

Terbinafine kills susceptible fungi by disrupting their cell membrane. Clobetasol cools inflammation, redness and itching. Ofloxacin and Ornidazole work against susceptible bacteria and certain anaerobes, tackling secondary infection.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor, usually twice daily. Wash and dry the skin first. Do not cover with tight dressings unless told to. Use only for the short course your doctor advises.

• Burning, stinging or itching at the site
• Skin thinning with long use
• Changes in skin colour
• Folliculitis
• Allergic skin reaction

Avoid the face, groin and underarms unless your doctor says it is okay. Do not use for long periods or over large areas without advice, as the steroid can be absorbed. Avoid on viral skin infections. Discuss use in pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep the tube closed and out of reach of children.
