Texakind from Mankind Pharma contains tranexamic acid, an antifibrinolytic medicine that helps reduce excessive bleeding in conditions like heavy menstrual periods and certain surgical or trauma situations.

• Helps control heavy menstrual bleeding
• Reduces bleeding after dental or surgical procedures
• Used in nose bleeds and other bleeding disorders as advised

Tranexamic acid works by slowing down the breakdown of blood clots. It blocks the action of plasmin on fibrin, so clots that have formed are not dissolved too quickly, helping reduce ongoing bleeding.

Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed by your doctor, usually during the days of heavy bleeding.

• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Headache or dizziness
• Rarely, vision changes

Tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, kidney problems, or eye conditions. Stop the medicine and seek urgent help if you notice sudden chest pain, leg swelling or vision changes.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from sunlight and out of reach of children.
