About
HCQS 400 from Ipca is a prescription strength of hydroxychloroquine used in the management of autoimmune conditions and in selected malaria cases.
Uses
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Systemic and discoid lupus erythematosus
- Treatment of susceptible malaria when prescribed
How it works
Hydroxychloroquine reduces excessive immune-cell activity, which lowers the inflammation behind joint pain, swelling and skin flares in autoimmune illness. In malaria, it disrupts the parasite inside red blood cells.
How to take
Swallow the tablet whole with water, ideally with food or milk, as prescribed by your doctor.

Precautions
