Ecosprin AV 75 15 cap

Ecosprin AV 75 from USV is a single-capsule combination of atorvastatin 10 mg and aspirin 75 mg. It joins a statin with a salicylate antiplatelet, giving daily support for people at high cardiovascular risk.

Atorvastatin lowers LDL cholesterol by blocking HMG-CoA reductase in the liver, helping stabilise atherosclerotic plaques. Aspirin permanently inactivates platelet cyclooxygenase, reducing thromboxane A2 so platelets clump less and clot risk falls.

Swallow the capsule whole with water, usually at night with or after food, as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid large amounts of grapefruit juice and never stop suddenly without medical advice.

• Muscle aches or rare liver enzyme rise

Share any history of liver disease, ulcers, asthma, bleeding disorders, pregnancy or breastfeeding with your doctor. Report unexplained muscle pain, dark urine, jaundice, black stools or vomiting blood. Avoid combining with other blood thinners or NSAIDs without advice.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
