Lipikind F by Mankind is a combination lipid tablet for adults who have both high cholesterol and high triglycerides. It joins two well-known lipid medicines in a single daily tablet.

• Lowers high LDL cholesterol
• Helps reduce high triglyceride levels

One ingredient is a statin that slows the liver's production of cholesterol. The other is a fibrate that helps the body break down fatty particles in the blood and may also raise the helpful kind of cholesterol.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day with water. It is often taken with food to be gentler on the stomach. Continue a low-fat diet and regular activity.

Share any history of liver, kidney, gallbladder, or thyroid problems. Report unexplained muscle pain, weakness, or dark urine right away. Limit alcohol, and tell your doctor about all other medicines and supplements you take.
