About

How it works
Methotrexate slows folate-dependent processes in fast-dividing cells, calming an overactive immune system and reducing inflammation.
How to take
Take once a week on the same chosen day, as prescribed by your doctor. Never daily. Folic acid is usually given on the other days.

- Tiredness
- Liver, kidney or blood count changes
Precautions
Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol. Regular blood tests are essential. Tell your doctor about any infection, cough or new medicines.
