Senasof from Wanbury is a laxative tablet that contains Calcium Sennosides. It belongs to a class of medicines called stimulant laxatives and is used for short-term relief of constipation.

Sennosides act directly on the muscles of the large intestine to gently stimulate movement. They also help draw water into the bowel, softening stools and making them easier to pass.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, usually at bedtime, so that it works overnight. Drink plenty of fluids during the day for best results.

Do not use continuously for more than a week without medical advice. Avoid in stomach pain of unknown cause, bowel blockage, or severe dehydration. Tell the doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or giving it to a child or elderly person.

Keep below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the strip in its original pack and out of reach of children.
