Alsame Tablet (10 Tab)

Alsame is a tablet containing S-adenosyl L-methionine (ademetionine) 400mg. It is used to support the liver in conditions where bile flow slows or the liver is under strain. It is also used to help with joint pain and, in some cases, low mood.

• Supports the liver in cholestasis and liver disease
• Used in intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, under a doctor's care
• Helps ease joint pain in osteoarthritis
• Sometimes used to support mood

Ademetionine is a natural substance the body uses in many cell processes. It helps raise glutathione, an antioxidant, in the liver, which supports liver cells and helps protect them from damage.

Take exactly as your doctor advises. Swallow the tablet whole with water, do not crush or chew it, and try to take it at the same time each day.

• Nausea
• Stomach pain
• Diarrhoea or gas; these often settle on their own

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or take antidepressants. Avoid alcohol. It may cause dizziness, so take care when driving.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from light and children.
