Yasmin from Bayer is a combined oral contraceptive containing ethinylestradiol and drospirenone, used for birth control and offering some additional cycle benefits.

• Prevention of pregnancy
• Help with cycle regularity
• Reducing some PMS-related symptoms

The hormone combination prevents ovulation, alters the uterine lining and thickens cervical mucus, making conception unlikely.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, one tablet daily for 21 days followed by a break, as per the pack schedule.

• Nausea or breast tenderness
• Mood or weight changes
• Spotting between periods

Not suitable if you have a history of blood clots, certain cancers, severe liver disease or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Smokers above a certain age should avoid use.

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
