Orasep OT from Elan Pharma is an oral gel designed to bring comfort when the inside of your mouth is sore or inflamed. It combines choline salicylate, which works against inflammation, with lignocaine, a local anaesthetic that numbs the area. Together they help take the edge off painful ulcers and other minor oral irritations.

• Mouth ulcers and aphthous sores
• Sore patches from dentures or orthodontic appliances
• Minor gum tenderness and cheek-bite injuries
• Short-term oral discomfort while healing

Choline salicylate calms inflammation in the soft tissues of the mouth, easing swelling and tenderness. Lignocaine acts on nerve endings just under the surface to block pain signals, giving fast, short-acting numbing relief.

Use as prescribed by your doctor or dentist. A small dab is usually massaged gently onto the painful spot with a clean fingertip. It is best to avoid eating or drinking for a short time afterwards so the gel can stay on the area.

Mention if you are allergic to salicylates or local anaesthetics, are pregnant, breastfeeding or using it for a child. Avoid swallowing large amounts and do not apply over deep, bleeding wounds without medical advice.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
