Fourderm cream 15 gm

Fourderm Cream from Cipla is a four-ingredient skin preparation containing chlorhexidine, terbinafine, clobetasol and ofloxacin. It is used for short courses on infected, inflamed skin where more than one type of germ may be at play.

• Mixed bacterial and fungal skin infections
• Inflamed eczema with infection
• Stubborn itchy infected rashes

Clobetasol calms inflammation and itch, terbinafine clears fungal growth, ofloxacin acts on susceptible bacteria, and chlorhexidine adds antiseptic cover at the skin surface. The mix targets several problems at once.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area only, as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after, and avoid covering the area with tight dressings unless told to.

• Skin thinning with prolonged use
• Stretch marks
• Skin colour change
• Local irritation

Avoid the face, groin, underarms and broken skin unless directed. Do not use for long stretches, and keep the cream out of the eyes, mouth and nose.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius with the cap tightly closed, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
