T Bact Ointment 15 g

T Bact Ointment from GSK is a topical antibiotic ointment with mupirocin, used to treat skin infections and prevent infection in small wounds. Thicker base helps it stay on longer.

• Impetigo and infected sores
• Infected cuts, grazes and burns
• Folliculitis and boils (early stage)
• Preventing infection in minor wounds

Mupirocin blocks bacterial protein production, stopping the bugs from multiplying so the skin can heal.

Apply a thin layer on the cleaned affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands before and after. A light dressing can be used if needed.

• Mild burning or stinging
• Itching at the site
• Occasional redness or dryness

External use only - keep away from eyes, nose and mouth. Stop if you get a strong skin reaction. Avoid overuse to prevent antibiotic resistance.

Store below 25 degrees C, away from direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of children's reach.
