Calcigiant DB

Calcigiant DB from Prevego contains Calcium Dobesilate, a medicine that works on small blood vessels. It is commonly used for vein and eye-related blood vessel problems.

• Symptoms of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency such as heaviness, cramps and swelling in the legs
• Piles (haemorrhoids) related discomfort
• Eye conditions caused by leaky tiny blood vessels, like diabetic retinopathy

Calcium Dobesilate reduces the leakiness of small blood vessels and improves blood flow through them. It also lowers swelling and the stickiness of blood cells in those vessels.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or just after food to be gentler on the stomach.

• Nausea or stomach upset
• Skin rash or itching
• Fever
• Rarely, a fall in white blood cells (agranulocytosis), so report any unexplained fever or sore throat

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have kidney disease, or notice any signs of infection while on this medicine. Avoid using on your own without medical advice.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from sunlight, and keep out of reach of children.
