About
Rosuvas B 40 combines Rosuvastatin (a statin) with Bempedoic Acid (an ATP-citrate lyase inhibitor). Doctors prescribe this pair when a statin alone is not enough to bring cholesterol down.
Uses

How it works
Rosuvastatin blocks HMG-CoA reductase in the liver, lowering cholesterol production. Bempedoic acid blocks an earlier step in the same cholesterol-making pathway. Together they make the liver pull more LDL from the blood.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken at any time of day, but keep the timing fixed along with a low-fat diet.

Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have gout, liver, kidney, or thyroid issues, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Report unusual muscle pain, tenderness, or dark urine immediately. Avoid heavy alcohol use.
