Rosuvas 20

Rosuvas 20 from Sun Pharma contains Rosuvastatin, a statin medicine. Doctors prescribe it to lower high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Rosuvastatin blocks HMG-CoA reductase, the liver enzyme that makes cholesterol. The liver then removes more LDL from the bloodstream, bringing cholesterol into a healthier range.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It can be taken at any time of day, but try to take it at the same time daily along with a low-fat diet.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have liver, kidney, or thyroid problems. Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or dark urine straight away. Avoid heavy alcohol use.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from heat and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
