About
Rosuvas EZ 40 from Emcure combines Rosuvastatin (a statin) with Ezetimibe (a cholesterol absorption inhibitor). Doctors prescribe this higher strength when cholesterol is hard to control.
Uses

How it works
Rosuvastatin blocks cholesterol production in the liver. Ezetimibe blocks the absorption of cholesterol from the intestine. The two together give a stronger LDL drop than either alone.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken any time of day, but keep the timing fixed and follow a heart-friendly diet.

Precautions
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, of Asian origin, or have liver, kidney, or thyroid issues. Report unusual muscle pain, tenderness, weakness, or dark urine straight away. Avoid heavy alcohol use.
