Pirox DT

Pirox DT from Cipla is a dispersible tablet form of piroxicam, an NSAID used for pain and inflammation. The dispersible format is helpful for people who find swallowing capsules difficult.

Piroxicam blocks the cyclo-oxygenase enzymes that produce prostaglandins, chemicals that drive pain, swelling and inflammation. By reducing these signals, it eases joint discomfort and stiffness.

Disperse the tablet in a small amount of water and drink, preferably after food, as prescribed by your doctor.

Tell your doctor about ulcers, asthma, kidney or heart disease, or blood pressure problems. Avoid in late pregnancy. Do not combine with other NSAIDs. Use the smallest dose for the shortest duration needed.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the strip closed and out of reach of children.
