Nailrox 8% Nail Lacquer Solution 5 ml

Nailrox 8% Nail Lacquer is a medicated polish from Intas Pharmaceuticals that contains ciclopirox, a broad-spectrum antifungal. It is applied directly to the nail to treat fungal nail infections (onychomycosis).

• Mild to moderate fungal nail infections
• Athlete's-foot related nail involvement
• Discoloured, thickened or brittle nails caused by fungus

Ciclopirox is a hydroxypyridone antifungal. It binds metal ions inside fungal cells, disrupting enzymes the fungus needs to grow, which stops the infection from spreading and lets healthy nail grow back.

Apply as prescribed by your doctor. Usually painted as a thin film on the affected nail and surrounding skin once daily, ideally at bedtime. Let it dry before covering. Treatment often continues for several months until a clear nail grows out.

• Mild redness or irritation around the nail
• Burning or itching at the application site
• Temporary change in nail shape or colour
• Rare allergic skin reaction

Not for use in or near the eyes, mouth or vagina. Avoid nail polish or artificial nails while on treatment. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, or have poor circulation in the feet. Keep away from flame, as the solution is flammable.

Store below 25°C in a tightly closed bottle, away from heat, flame and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
