Sterile Gauze 10x10

Sterile gauze is a soft, absorbent woven cotton pad used in first aid and wound care. The 10x10 cm size suits small to medium dressings at home or in the clinic.

• Covering and dressing minor cuts, scrapes and surgical wounds
• Absorbing blood, fluid or discharge from a wound
• Cleaning skin around an injury before applying a dressing

The loose cotton weave soaks up fluid and creates a clean barrier between your wound and the outside world, helping keep dirt and germs out while the skin heals.

Wash your hands, open the pack just before use and place the gauze directly over the cleaned wound. Secure it with tape or a bandage and change as advised by your doctor or when it becomes soiled.

• Mild irritation if changed too roughly
• Sticking to a dry wound when removed

Do not reuse a pad once the pack is opened. Avoid use if the seal is broken or the pad looks soiled. Seek medical help for deep, dirty or non-healing wounds.

Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, in the original sealed pack until use.
