Electral from FDC is a World Health Organization-formula oral rehydration salt (ORS) that replaces water and electrolytes lost in diarrhoea, vomiting or heavy sweating. This sachet makes a one-litre rehydration drink.

The balanced mix of sodium, potassium, chloride and glucose uses the body's natural co-transport system to draw water and salts back into the bloodstream, restoring fluid balance.

Dissolve the full sachet in one litre of clean drinking water and sip steadily, as advised by your doctor. Discard any solution left after 24 hours.

Do not boil the solution or add extra sugar or salt. Seek medical help if dehydration is severe or if there is persistent vomiting, drowsiness or reduced urine output.
