Lupidine Solution 500ml

Lupidine 15 ml from Lupin is a small-volume antiseptic solution used for minor skin and mucous-membrane cleansing. It is commonly povidone-iodine based.

• Cleansing minor cuts and grazes
• Antiseptic for small skin wounds
• Pre-procedure skin prep
• Mouth and throat gargle (when diluted, if labelled)

Povidone-iodine slowly releases iodine, which kills a wide range of bacteria, fungi, viruses and protozoa on skin and mucous surfaces.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. For skin, dab a small amount with cotton on the cleaned wound. For gargle use, only if your doctor advises and only after dilution as directed.

• Temporary skin staining
• Stinging at application site
• Skin irritation or rash
• Rarely, allergic reaction

Avoid in known iodine allergy and in newborns. Tell your doctor about thyroid disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use on large, deep or burn wounds without advice.

Store below 25 degrees C, away from sunlight. Keep the cap tight, away from food and out of children's reach.
