Mediker Anti Lice Shampoo from Marico is a coconut-oil based hair wash formulated to tackle head lice and their eggs. It combines a mild cleansing base with an insecticidal active so a regular hair-wash routine doubles up as a treatment.

The active ingredient acts on the nervous system of lice, making it hard for them to survive on the scalp. The coconut oil base helps the formula spread through the hair and loosens nits from the hair shaft so they comb out more easily.

Wet the hair, apply enough shampoo to cover the scalp and length, massage gently and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing. Follow up with a fine-tooth comb on damp hair and repeat after a week if needed.
