8X KT Shampoo from Cipla is a medicated anti-dandruff and anti-fungal shampoo. It pairs two well-known scalp medicines, ciclopirox olamine and ketoconazole, to tackle stubborn dandruff and itchy, flaky scalp conditions.

• Treats severe or recurring dandruff
• Helps with seborrheic dermatitis (scaly, red scalp)
• Useful for fungal infections of the scalp
• Calms itching and flaking

Both ingredients are antifungals. Ketoconazole stops the fungus on the scalp from building its outer shell, while ciclopirox olamine disturbs the way fungal cells use nutrients. Together they cut down the yeast that triggers most dandruff and flaking.

Use as suggested by your doctor or as per the label. Usually, wet the hair, apply the shampoo, gently massage into the scalp and leave on for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing well. Use 2 to 3 times a week or as advised.
