About

Ursocol 300 from Sun Pharma contains ursodeoxycholic acid, used for liver disorders and to help dissolve cholesterol gallstones.

Uses

  • Dissolves small cholesterol gallstones
  • Treats primary biliary cholangitis
  • Supports bile flow in chronic liver conditions

How it works

This bile acid reduces cholesterol in bile and replaces harmful bile acids, helping protect the liver and gradually dissolve cholesterol stones.

How to take

Swallow with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Continue for the full course your doctor advises.

Side effects

  • Diarrhoea
  • Mild stomach pain
  • Nausea
  • Skin rash (uncommon)

Precautions

Avoid if you have calcified gallstones or an inflamed gallbladder. Share your full liver history and any pregnancy plans with your doctor.
