Udiliv from Abbott offers a higher strength of ursodeoxycholic acid, a bile acid medicine used for cholesterol gallstones and chronic liver conditions.

How it works

Ursodeoxycholic acid reduces cholesterol in bile and replaces harsher bile acids that can damage liver cells, helping protect the liver and slowly dissolve cholesterol-rich gallstones.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food or at bedtime. Swallow the tablet whole with water.

Precautions

Not suitable for calcified or radio-opaque stones or acute gallbladder inflammation. Inform your doctor about liver problems, severe diarrhoea or pregnancy.
