Texakind MF from Mankind Pharma combines tranexamic acid, an antifibrinolytic that reduces bleeding, with mefenamic acid, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory that eases pain and cramps, making it useful for heavy and painful menstrual periods.

Tranexamic acid slows the breakdown of blood clots, helping reduce bleeding. Mefenamic acid lowers the production of prostaglandins, the chemical messengers that drive period pain and heavy flow, easing cramps at the same time.

Swallow with water after food as prescribed by your doctor, usually during the days of heavy or painful bleeding.

• Nausea or stomach discomfort
• Diarrhoea
• Headache or drowsiness
• Rarely, vision changes

Tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, ulcers, asthma, or kidney or liver disease. Avoid this combination if you have had previous reactions to NSAIDs.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from sunlight and out of reach of children.
