Naprosyn 250+ 15 tab

Naprosyn 250 from RPG Life Sciences contains naproxen, a well-known non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to relieve a wide range of pain and inflammation.

• Joint pain in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
• Gout attacks and ankylosing spondylitis
• Period pain and headache
• Muscle, back and dental pain
• Pain and swelling after minor injury

Naproxen blocks COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes that make prostaglandins, the chemicals responsible for pain, fever and inflammation in injured or inflamed tissue. Lower prostaglandin levels reduce swelling, stiffness and pain.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with a full glass of water, ideally with or after food. Do not lie down for a short while after the dose to reduce stomach irritation.

• Stomach pain, heartburn or indigestion
• Nausea or loss of appetite
• Headache or dizziness
• Rash or itching
• Risk of stomach ulcers or bleeding with prolonged use

Tell your doctor if you have stomach ulcers, asthma, kidney, liver or heart disease, or high blood pressure. Avoid in the last trimester of pregnancy. Do not combine with other NSAIDs or blood thinners without medical advice. Limit alcohol and use for the shortest time needed.

Store below 25°C in the original strip, protected from heat, light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
